October Release #1

We made the following updates to Maecos.

Checklist interface improvements

We’ve given the Checklist module a full visual overhaul to improve readability on the shop floor. The header now follows our latest design standards, and the statistics bar takes up less space while showing completion status via a clear progress bar.

Checklist header with new stats

In multi-checklist mode, the top info-headers will now scroll upward as you move through your tasks. This gives more vertical room for checklist rows and keeps the details you need always within reach.

Each check cell’s layout has been reworked to emphasize upcoming checks less prominently, and to highlight actionable items. We’ve also updated the “linked issue” icon so it’s immediately recognizable, helping team leaders spot and address deviations faster.

Improved checklist UX

Dashboard Visualisation Improvements

Widgets now automatically size their fonts correctly in all cases, and empty widgets render as skeleton placeholders on first load, so dashboards feel smoother and more polished when you open them during a morning shift briefing.

We’ve also fixed inconsistencies in percentage displays, and charts that once struggled to render all-zero data now show correctly.

Meetings: Notes & Filters

On the Notes tab, you can now clone content from the last meeting—saving time during shift handovers.

In the meeting list, the 'Meetings for me' preset used to show all public meetings; now it only lists meetings you organize or are invited to, helping you focus on your own schedules.

Smart Author Selection for Updates

When setting up category-specific update authors, you can now use Smart User Selection instead of picking each user manually. This gives more delegation control top-down communication.

Document Templates & Access Control

With our new templates and refined access controls, you can standardize drafts and secure content effortlessly.

Document Templates

  • Select one or multiple existing documents (online or uploaded) as templates in any document category.

  • Enforce or optionally allow fresh starts.

  • “New draft” modal guides you through creating a draft from an online template or by downloading/uploading a file.

Category-Level Access Control

Use Smart User Selection to configure:

  • Authors – who can create and edit in this category

  • Read access – who can view documents (defaults to All Users)

Unauthorized users won’t see restricted categories or files in the browser.

Status Component Overhaul

We’ve updated the status badges used across Issues, Actions, Meetings, Course Enrollments, Skill Needs, and Documents. New colors are now consistent across workflows, and the badges have a distinct look to prevent confusion with labels or categories. This also applies to text colors in the Task Center.

User qualification page fixes

  • Partially completed skills are no longer counted as complete.

  • Expired exemptions now correctly appear as missing skills.

  • Resolved an “unauthorized” error that prevented users from viewing their own qualifications.

Other Improvements and Bugfixes

  • When supervisors oversee many workstations, the user menu (top right) can now scroll internally instead of cutting off options—so you can always switch contexts quickly, even on smaller screens.

  • When starting a meeting within a series, the correct series tabs is now added.

  • SAP SuccessFactors sync now supports scheduled account activation.

  • “Find an expert” moved from Training Reporting to the Training menu.

  • SCIM user sync now includes N+1 relationships.

  • Fixed rare chart rendering issues on dashboards.

  • Improved reliability of document uploads.
