We’ve made the following updates to Maecos.

External Dashboard Support with PowerBI Integration

The dashboarding module has been awaiting an update, but we're now ready to introduce the first in a series of new features and enhancements.

Incorporating external dashboards

The new integration with PowerBI enables users to create a Maecos dashboard by simply pointing to a PowerBI report via an embed URL. This seamless connection allows users to display any PowerBI report within our application, providing access to advanced visualization and analytical capabilities.

Additionally, the update extends the flexibility of the dashboarding module by allowing the embedding of virtually any external URL, not just PowerBI. This means you can incorporate other third-party visualizations or tools directly into your Maecos dashboard.

By combining the power of our reporting databases with PowerBI integration and external URL embedding, you can create custom dashboards that blend Maecos data and external data sources. This enhancement empowers you to uncover valuable insights to further optimize your manufacturing processes and operations.

Get started

To take advantage of the new feature, just create a new dashboard, select "Use external report URL," and input an embed URL from PowerBI or your preferred reporting tool.

Fixes and improvements

  • Added the feature to show classroom location in dropdown

  • Removed the filekind text from FileViewer

  • Improved the file viewer reloading

  • Added the feature of self-enrolling in classroom training

  • Show pictures taken in EAN checks as evidence

  • Introduced an alternative ExecuteStagingCheck that uses new BOM

  • Correctly guard links in skillmatrix

  • Made a distinction between trained and optional in skillmatrix

  • Fixed the issue with faulty fetching learning paths qualifications
