We made the following updates to Maecos.

SCORM course playback and tracking

More accurate course completion tracking

Maecos now intelligently resolves conflicting SCORM data, so learners are always marked as having completed and passed their courses only when they truly have. This ensures your L&D teams and auditors can trust completion reports.

SVG image support

We fixed the issue that prevented SVGs from displaying in SCORM content. Whether it’s vector-based diagrams in technical training or schematic illustrations in safety modules, all your SVG assets will render crisply inside the Maecos player.

Document management enhancements

Updated document type names

To simplify navigation and align with industry terminology, we’ve renamed key document categories:

• Work instruction → Online document

• File → File upload

• Link → External link

Automatic document numbering

Every document now gets a unique, system-generated number on creation. No more manual tracking or duplicate IDs—your documents stay organized and searchable across the Operations and Learning modules.

If you are using external references, Maecos will now alert you if you attempt to set a reference that already exists. This prevents accidental duplicates and keeps your document library clean.

Online document editor improvements

• You can now undo and redo changes directly inside paragraphs and list items.

• Press Escape or Enter to gracefully exit block edit mode.

• The “+” menu now stays fully within your viewport, so you can insert images, links, or snippets without scrolling off-screen.

• If a publish attempt fails, all your revision notes (what changed and why) are preserved—so you can retry without retyping your feedback.

Other improvements and bugfixes

• Login branding fixed: Custom branding logos and colors now display correctly on the login screen.
