October Release #1 - 2024

We’ve made the following updates to Maecos.

A Fresh New Identity for Maecos

We’re thrilled to unveil Maecos' new branding! This isn’t just a refresh – it’s a complete overhaul, and the team couldn’t be prouder of the result. Our new look reflects who we are today: forward-thinking, dynamic, and committed to making your experience with Maecos smoother and more enjoyable.

  • New Orbis Logo: Our fresh logo features three interconnected orbs in an infinite loop – a powerful symbol of our shared commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Blue-Purple Color Palette: We’ve given Maecos a bold new look with a professional and vibrant blue-purple color scheme, embodying our modern and forward-focused approach.

  • FT Sterling Font: Clean, modern, and designed for readability, this new font enhances every interaction, making your experience with Maecos even more enjoyable.

And now, we’ve brought this fresh new identity into the Maecos app! We’ve applied these changes across the platform to give you a more consistent and visually appealing experience, whether you’re on our site or deep in the app.

A Redesigned Menu for Seamless Navigation

While implementing the new brand, we’ve redesigned the Maecos menu. You can now choose between a compact version with icons or an expanded version with both icons and text – whichever suits your workflow best.

We’ve also reorganized the layout, putting key items right at the top for quicker access, while settings and logout are conveniently placed at the bottom for ease of use.

Improvements

  • Enhanced document filters to include options for finding empty or non-empty custom fields.

  • Added the ability to filter issues by "Days since created," helping to track issues open for extended periods.

  • In custom metrics, we now support reporting days starting at 6am instead of midnight.

  • Extended issue category and subcategory configuration so that it is possible to constrain assignee choices.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed an issue where enabling/disabling conditional checks would not apply consistently across all checks.

  • Corrected the document owner filter to display only documents owned by the user.

  • Resolved a problem where the "Show last 3 shifts" widget displayed four shifts instead.

  • Fixed incorrect downtime calculations, ensuring accurate results.

  • Addressed an issue with assignee configuration where only one option (without a default) was available.

  • Fixed a bug in dashboard widget forms where source entity selection was not functioning properly.

  • Fixed an issue with the new font that caused certain characters to look bigger when scaling (zooming in or out) the app.

  • Fixed error when attempting to create a dashboard widget for updates without selecting a specific update.

  • Fixed the one where it was impossible to enter data in a custom numeric issue field.
