We’ve made the following updates to Maecos.

Classify, link and analyze downtime

Over the past few weeks, we have been gradually rolling out our new Downtime Module. This tool automatically imports all equipment downtime data from your existing systems, offering a comprehensive overview of your operational efficiency and highlighting potential areas for improvement.

These are the Key Features:

Downtime Classification: Easily classify your downtime events into minor and major categories. Prioritize your focus on issues causing the most significant disruptions to your production process.

Issue Linking: Create new issues directly from downtime events or link an existing issue. Maecos will show the most relevant related issues.

Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the root causes of your major downtime events. Identify recurring problems and areas that require further investigation or action.

Downtime Notes: Add notes or comments to each downtime issue. This can be especially useful for providing additional context or documenting actions taken in response to the event.

Improvements

  • Added checklists equipment (location)

  • Added possibility to show BOS created by logged-in user

  • We now show more linked issue data in downtime analysis table

  • Added more issue data to issue search on downtime qualification screen

  • Use Ctrl/Cmd to select rows in downtime module

  • Improved performance by optimizing database-heavy queries

  • Enabled sub-equipment for issues

  • Added paging to course follow-up page (OTJ, feedback, exams)

  • Allowed viewing non-active data in course follow-up

  • Added an extra "additional training need" permission

  • Now showing end time in classroom training selects

  • Added a frontend filter on course enrollments tab (admins)

  • Allows doing a SCORM session again (after completing a previous session)

  • Implemented additional LMS reporting capabilities
