Proficiency levels

Proficiency scales are maturity levels for a certain skill. Each maturity level can be configured with different qualification criteria (different courses).

To make this staggered approach, one needs to create the proficiency scales via via TrainingProficiency scales .

The system allows up to 5 levels that can be configured and named. In case one wants to use for certain skills only two levels, we advise to keep the naming of the steps, but configure them separetely

Compenty levels are shown in qualification statusses and skill matrices via pie charts. To interpret them properly, one needs to understand the inner charts and the outer circle

Inner pie charts

  • Red pieces - Unqualified, but required proficiency scales

  • Green pieces - Qualified. Required proficiency level when the outer line follows in green. Not required when the outer line is grey

  • Grey pieces - Possible proficiency level

Outer circle

  • Dotted line - In training for the corresponding proficiency scales

  • Full grey line - Not mandatory

  • Full green line - Qualified and mandatory

  • Full red line - Not qualified, but mandatory
