General principles Checklists

Goal of checklists

Checklists are structured lists that will guide employees in a predefined way through inspections. Checks

Standard fields to checklists

Checks

Each point in a checklists that requires a data-entry is a check. They are linked to a description (procedure) and potentially have a frequency. The building blocks of checks can be linked to the document module and as such always reference the latest approved versions.

Data entry period

Data can be entered in a certain time window. This is configured in each check. Default window is untill the next check comes up

Compliance status & colorcoding

Non-compliance is visualised with an exclamation icon and is not linked to color codes, as these can be configured at procedure level for the various thresholds. Best is to set a standard (use templates) and ensure the visual aids are consistent in your entire platform.

Escalation

When a check is linked to an issue, the linkage icon will appear in the bottom of the check.

Checklist

The checklists itself is the combination of all checks and can be submitted manually or closed automatically.
