Goal of Skills & Training

Structure learning and drive compliance without all the administration. With an intelligent set-up, all changes and improvements start flowing automatically to the designated target audience. Use skill-based access rights both inside and outside Maecos to automate permissions.

Skills

Skill are a basic building block of your training system. They are linked to a skill category and can (optionally) have a proficiency level. Qualification status of skills at personal level are visualised in personal qualifications. At team level in a skill matrix

Courses

Courses are the way to qualify for a skill. To be qualified, trainees need to pass all of the course content blocks. Courses are linked to the proficiency levels of a skill, ensuring the right level of expertise is trained. Refresher courses are new qualifications for qualified persons when the content changes or is updated. Courses are made available in the catalogue.

Users

Users are the employees. Each employee fills one (or more) position(s). Each position has a profile linked to it, driving standardisation in training requirements. Skills (and thus proficiency levels) are linked to these training requirements.
