Measurement types

The details of all the measurement types are listed below:


Choice

Goal: Predefined multiple choice

Configure:

  • Click to add more options

  • Click to delete unnecessary choices

  • Select compliant/non-compliant to ensure KPI's are correct

  • Toggl "advanced editor" on to change colors

Templates

There is no option to create templates on client side, but they can be configured by the Maecos team. Send an e-mail to your customers success manager to help you with new templates

Examples:

  • Binary choice: Yes-no

  • Quality checks: Target-Acceptable-Marginal-Unacceptable

  • Quality grading: 0-3-5

  • Audits: Off Standard-Partial-Compliant


Numeric

Goal: Numeric entries as check values

Configure:

  • Click to add more options

  • Click to delete unnecessary choices

  • Select compliant/non-compliant to ensure KPI's are correct

  • Note: The system logic is from top-to-bottom. Ensure you define the rules accordingly.

  • Note 2: Check the section on Centerlines for dynamic settings

Input mode:

  • Integer: Only integers are allowed

  • Decimal: Figures with choice of 1,2,3 or 4 decimals

  • Fraction: Two entries are required for the system to calculate their fraction

Units:

Units of Measure (UoM) can be selected from the dropdown-menu. When the required UoM is not available, select "--none--" in the list, typ the desired UoM and press enter of click create. The UoM is now added to the list for all numeric procedures to select from

Examples:

  • Temperatures, Pressure, Speed, Weight,...


Textual

Goal: Free text fields

Use: No validation can be done on this input

Examples:

  • Comments

  • ID's of materials that cannot be checked (supplier batch ID's)

  • Purchase Orders

  • License Plates

  • ...


Date

Goal: Capture a date

Examples:

  • Delivery date of a material


Time

Goal: Capture a timing

Examples:

  • Enter the time event X took place


DateTime

Goal: Capture a date and time stamp

Examples:

  • External batch creation date and time


Material

Goal: Verify the material code versus the running production order

Front line teams will be requested to take pictures from the labels. All details are stored in the traceability page.

Prerequisites:

  • Material types are created via ProductMaterial types

  • An integration with production orders is set-up

Examples:

  • Primary packaging material

  • Secondary packaging material

  • Ingredient categories


Staging

Goal: Verify the material code prior to running a production order

Use: Similar to material checks, but including a preparation phase. More details can be found on the traceability page.


Use by DLC

Goal: Verify the Use by date (DLC/Date Limite de Consommation) on the label of finished goods

Use: Front line teams will be requested to take pictures from the labels.

Prerequisites: An integration with production orders is set-up


EAN

Goal: Verify the EAN code (European Article Code) on the label of finished goods

Use: Front line teams will be requested to take pictures from the labels.

Prerequisites: An integration with production orders is set-up
