Checklist definition (Master template)
One starts from an empty page:

Section (optional)
One can introduce sections in a checklist to bring some structure.

Title - Text you will see in a checklist. Differentiated from the actual checks
Collapsed by default
on - The section is visible, but none of the checks are shown
off - The section is fully visible, including all checks
Description - Explanation can be entered here
Media - Also media can be added here

Procedures
Basis of checklists are the procedures. One can select an existing procedure in the dropdown and search for an existing procedure or click on
to create a new one

Specify procedure

When a procedure is selected, the platform will check whether you want to add additional
Show value in checklist header
on - The value of the check will be shown as a new row under the details of the checklist
off - Nothing happens, everythings stays as it is`
Can be used to pin a value (eg procedure: Enter Batch ID) on top of the checklist
Time to complete
Unspecified - No restrictions are imposed. One has time until the next check comes up or until the checklist is closed
A fixed number of minutes
Before start - Open the check for data entry at the selected time prior to the scheduled time
After start - All entries after the selected time prior from the scheduled time are shown as not on time
eg for a check with the following configuration

the planned check of 11am will have the following time window to complete on time

Repeat check in checklist
No - Check will need to be administered only once. This is the default value
Manually - Check can be added by decision of employee. A plus-sign will appear next to the check to launch a new check. A new sidepanel will open to add the check (now, or later).

When the procedures are part of a section, the the plus sign will also appear in the section box. When multiple procedures are manual, one can use the section button to add all of the manual procedures at once
Automatically - Details can be configured to repeat the check within a checklist. Used for high frequency checks to be scheduled eg. every hour. The below configuration results in the schedule underneath

Trigger (note: only when checklist is configured as three-shift schedule)
Any shift - Check will come up every instance of the checklist
Specific shifts - Shifts can be selected to include the check in the instance

This way, one can create different checks per shift, using one master template. On a shift basis, only one column is shown and this only the expected checks are visualised for the front line teams. Often used for cleaning, inspection or lubrication tasks that need to be scheduled once per week.

Location (create variants)
The checklist definition (master template) need to have locations (variants). Next to the checks, they have a workstation linked to them (so active checklists can be pushed to the correct task center) and equipments can be selected per location (allowing for logging of data-entry at the right granularity)
Parameter
Especially in process environments, one does not always know which equipment is being used. For this use case, parameters come in handy. This is a selection of equipment that can be linked to a procedure. In the example below, we filled in "Example parameter" and selected three equipment

Once the parameter is linked to procedures in the admin section of the checklist (fo

End users will have to select the right equipment by clicking on
and selecting the equipment from the last of the parameter

One can link multiple procedures to the same parameter in the checklist definition.
End users will have to have to select the right equipment only once (at any of the procedures) and the equipment of all the linked procedures will be changed to the same equipment. As a consequence, check values will be recorded to the correct equipment.
Additional possibilities
Hidden behind the three dots
one can unlock additional steps to be taken for a checklist
Activate
A checklists need to be activated prior to be used. Likewise, an checklist can be deactivated. Activated checklists with a scheduler, will start pushing checklists to workstations
QR code (printed)
A QR code can be created for each individual location (variant). When selecting the location (with the choice to exclude checks), the QR-code can be generated. Pressing save will link the QR code visually to the edit page of the checklist.
Scanning the QR code will launch the checklist inst. Common use cases are event-triggered checks or on the spot inspections for eg Fork Lift Trucks (FLT's), ladders, truck deliveries,...
This are dynamic checklists, implying that additional checks can be added in the future or details can be changed without having to replace the QR code.
Quick Command (hyperlink)
When a QR code is created, an online equivalent can be created as well. This hyperlink at workstation level is called a Quick Command in the platform. All checklists linked to the active favorite workstations of an employee with a quick command, can be initiated from their device using the lightning icon in the upper right corner (middle icon below)
