Statusses

As stated above, there are three root status categories that can be given to an issue

  • Open - An action is required by someone

  • Closed - Completed and no further follow-up required

  • Canceled - Not processed, but no further follow-up required

These statusses are the default statusses in the application

Additional statusses can be created via the "create status" button. Naming is entirely free, yet all of them need to have one of the three root status categories.

Examples include:

Waiting for budget

No priority

Ordered

External company intervention

Open

Cancelled

Open

Closed

Workflows

Workflows can be linked to issue, ensuring additional status transitions can be created. Statusses can be used across multiple worklows and are automatically added to the filters of issues and dashboard widgets.

Configuration

One can create workflows via the selection of statusses. For each possible transition between the statusses, a row is created.

  • Filling in the name, makes the transition active.

  • Leaving the name empty, avoids the transition to be possible

The possible transitions for each active status, will be shown as buttons on the issue
