Category

  • Definition - A category is a demarcation of a functional domain for which issue can be submitted.

  • Examples - Safety, Maintenance, Quality,...

  • Configuration - A category can be created via SettingsIssuesCategories .

Subcategory

  • Definition - A subcategory is always part of a category and inherits the "custom fields" from its parent category. All other preferences will be overwritten.

  • Examples - Near misses (safety), blocked product (quality), technical intervention (maintenance),…

  • Configuration - A subcategory can be created via SettingsIssuesSubcategories.

Custom fields

  • Definition - A custom field is a selection or input field on a form.

  • Options - Text, number, choice, data, date & time, file upload.

  • Configuration - A subcategory can be created via the button on the (sub)category.

Statuses

  • Definition - A status represents the current state or progress stage of an issue within its workflow.

  • Examples - Waiting decision, Blocked, Budget constraints, Ordered, ...

  • Configuration - A status can be created via SettingsIssuesStatuses.

Workflows

  • Definition - The sequence and possible transitions of statuses linked to an issue.

  • Examples - Waiting decision, Blocked, Budget constraints, Ordered, ...

  • Configuration - A Workflow can be created via SettingsIssuesWorkflows.
