Meeting series

A meeting series lets you define a recurrence pattern. The system automatically generates and maintains a set of upcoming meeting instances based on that pattern.

General

Applicable to all frequencies are the following settings

Holiday

For each series you will be able to choose how holidays are handled:

  • Do not plan on holiday - Holidays are skipped and no meetings will be planned

  • Plan on holiday - Holidays will be ignored and meetings will be scheduled on holidays as well.

  • Next business day (mo-fri) - The scheduler move the meeting to the next available weekday that is not a holiday.

Planning ahead

You configure how many future meetings the system should keep scheduled at any time. When a meeting is completed, a new one is automatically generated at the end of the series to maintain this count.

Editing a Series

When you edit a meeting series (title, duration, location, participants), the changes are applied to all future meetings in the series. Past and completed meetings remain unchanged. You can also edit individual meeting instances without affecting the rest of the series.
